A friend of mine is a computer security expert. He recently took the CEH v7 Training course. He will get his certification as a certified ethical hacker. He said that experts in this field are high in demand now because companies are experiencing so many instances of security attacks. Companies really are looking to industry experts to make their systems more secure. My friend says that recruiters call him all the time, but he has a steady job now in his company. With his certification, he hopes to get promoted. There are 15 people in his IT security department, and the experience levels vary a lot. He is one of the trainers for the newer members of his team. He is going to develop some training in-house, but only on the specifics of the company’s IT infrastructure. He believes in continuous improvement through training in order to keep up one’s skills against industry standards.
